What about XP Home? -- Yet another perspective
The screen goes blank then comes back with a windows logo with a small bar graph going back and foreward underneath. Ok i tried both xp pro and win xp home. I run games like Alien vs Predator 2, Black Thorn, Tribes 2, CS, and operation flashpoint. What is it (and how) that XP Pro does whatever is being said here? I haven't found software installation to be all that difficult in any version of Windows, going back to 95, so what's the improvement in XP Pro that XP Home can't do? And what kind of "software maintenance" does WinXP Pro do?

The first two restores (one and two days in the past) didn't work so I ended up going back three days. After restore completed my new printer software wasn't there, I guess since I Will I have to do a complete restore from stratch (Windows XP OEM CD) are should I try another system restore from some other day?
